STORY STARTER

Write a story about a therapist who breaks client confidentiality.

What situation could bring them to make this decision?

Client Confidentiality

You’ll never guess what my patient told me today

I laughed, drunkenly, spilling my beer

All of my friends sitting at the table, stopped

And all turned to hear

With all eyes on me, reality struck

But I had to say something, otherwise I’m fucked

My confidence blossomed and I said it out loud

But judging by their reactions, I was not proud

A room of scorn, brows furrowed with judgment

It got even worse I’m afraid, I’ll tell you how it went

See the cause of their reaction was rather crystal clear

It was a painful revelation, they never expected to hear

The patient of mine, had confessed to murder

A knife in his victim, not a single souls heard her
