Sometimes I feel like

I’m always playing catch up

With somebody else

And then sometimes I feel like I am

4 years ahead

Time flies by and slowly I

Start hating myself

And then for a week and couple days

I feel utterly content

Ignorance is bliss

Or so they say

But if I’m ignorant

How can I know if I’m truly normal, truly ok?

Sometimes I struggle

And wish I never let something go

But then I realize with that past

I can never find a home

So I slow it down

And take a long breath

And wonder when

I’ll end up figuring out

All the rest
