L- Is For Life
In the Last glimpses of Light.
Laughter is Lost in the Lessons taught by Life.
A Longing for the scent of Lemons and Lavender.
A Longing for a Loving home.
Filled with sweet Little Lullabies sung.
Under the Lamps when sitting on your Lap.
And Letters written with Love.
How Lucky that must be?
When Lace curtains Loosly hung.
And I dreamt of Lands of butterflies and Ladybugs.
My Lens blurred from fields of Lilies and Lilacs.
Licking Lolipops skipping around Listening to the Lyrics.
But reality Looks Like I’m Left In Lukewarm Hugs.
Scared of Lighting and what Lurks in the dark.
The Luxery of Livelihood never Learned.
Will you Let me Live a better Life?
Lists and Luggage’s Littered in this room.
Leaving was the plan.
To no Longer be the Leftovers.
But I’m Leashed to this Ladder, holding to this Lie.
Lungs Lurching to finally breath.
Locked up in the Lighthouse Located in my mind.
Mind Linked to what Life used to be.
Laying alone Limbs Latching to every pain.
Loosing to what I Loathe.
My Limits Lagging, giving up on the Labor.
L is for Life.
The Life I Long for that’s no Longer mine.
