Ripping off the pain

And hiding it in a numb feeling

Walls are crumbling down leaving marks of frustration

Blind looks of seeing the outer side

And keeping to myself until I cool down

Blood boils over and over again

A loud kettle exploding with steam

The entire time burning and burning

In an invisible blanket covered to endure all the tough parts all alone

A phone call away

A gentle soft voice drags me back forward

Freeing me from myself and the anger

Love overcomes my selfish thoughts and once again I’m brought back to life
