The screech came from here

The screech came from there

It burns my ears

It burns them so

Its so very loud

The loudest ever sown

Then I realize the scream is my own

Why do I let myself continue in this pain

Why do I let myself be drowned by the rain

Why do I walk but not freely

Why do I try to run but trip continually

All the turbulence that rumbles through my spine and out my mouth

This new thing seems to be leading south
