Luna and her cat, Noir, were looking into the sky. Shades of rainbow colors were set like an abstract on the sky. They were watching the rare sighting of the “kiss” of Jupiter and Venus from the moons on their planet Mars, Phobos. Phobos was one of the two moons that Mars had. The other was Deimos. Luna never visited the other moon. Although she had dreamed of seeing something more than only her planet. She believed there was more out there in the universe. Luna was sitting on the rocks admiring the view. That spot was Luna’s favorite when she wanted to just sit and think. Her cat nudged her, “ what are you thinking about?” Noir wasn’t an ordinary cat. He was her friend and companion. On the moon, all animals can talk and communicate with their owners. Luna sighed,” romance, noir. Seeing how even planets can find a way to each other in unexpected times, I wish I can find something like that too”. Her cat, leaned on her with his head, “ don’t worry, I believe one day you’ll find someone, just like your parents did”. Luna continues looking at the sky,” how about earth? Noir, do you believe it exists?”. Noir jumps , startled“ earth?! You mean the place we are banned to even mention? Why earth all of a sudden?. Luna smiles,” I believe there is more to know more about it than what we learned about it”. Noir sighs. “ Luna, you are such a dreamer”.
