It’s my birthday and I am dreaming of a piece of cake

My partner makes me a yellow one he likes to bake

Loaded with chocolate frosting and only a candle

Only one slice and that’s all that I can handle

Well a visit to my Doctor tells me about my fate

No more cake and frosting before it’s too late

I know I am sweet and all but no more sugar for me

So now next year there will be fruit in a bowl for thee
