I thought my day, was going to be ok but things change

The last bus outa here, broke down plans to rearrange

There was a big conference, in town and I was to speak

I’m tired and hungry, and dust is collecting turning weak

The orange neon sign, was a blessing it was a hostel here

My aching feet, took me to the only room left and no fear

Two army cots, lined up with a blanket and one book shelf

At this point, I didn’t care if you had me share it with a elf

Once I settled in, and was dozing off for a nap and then a knock

Some other man walked in, with a butler and a maid and a clock

He was muttering to himself, about how bored being stuck here

I never worked, a day in my life he said to his man do you hear

Here I am, trying to survive on my every day life and my 24 hour job

Then I stay here one night, and get bunked up with a jobless Bob(snob)
