POEM STARTER

โ€œClouds cover the skies, rain pulls at your eyes,

but nothing hurts as much as little words turned lies'

Use this stanza as either part of, or inspiration for a poem.

The Clouds Wept

Clouds cover the skies.

Rain pulls at your eyes.

But nothing hurts as much

as Iittle words turned lies.

Every word you speak is a lie.

Broken promises have all run dry.

I said absolutely no falsehoods. Yet here we are again deep in

another one of your caustic lies._

_Itโ€™s obviously too late for us._

_Once the sky turns black,_

_thereโ€™s no going back

.

_

_The clouds have begun to weep._

_Thereโ€™s nothing left to do but _

_sleep and wait for this toxic storm _

_to pass.
