My whole being changing shape,

beguiled to the core and yet 

at peace.

A quiet pulsing of our universes 

strings plucking. Binding tying 

me to you. 

And those books, books spread out

all over the floor paper strewn

by desire.

But, so quiet now. 

It’s not abyss, your hand on mine

it’s flux and curse, like holding onto

molten chaos

                -  a moment in time.
