This feels apt, so let’s go…

In the wake of dusk,

I feel the rain strain the skies.

The night bought into these lies,

And leaving the promise full of trust.

“Too feel your fingertips circling my cheeks”

At the peak of midnight,

The heavens lost their fight.

And gave in to the stars it held,

longing to feel the stars as they fell.

“Feel the warmth under your touch”

Into the hours that followed,

The skies were alive with streams of light.

Celestial bodies falling into our sight,

Claiming the plane which they once borrowed.

“Our smiles gentle as the stars lit our world”

Into dawn we started to creep,

The starless sky now ceased to weep.

Light prickling the horizon,

Knowing the darkness had won.

“You are the stars and I am the sky”

This is it, I wish all whom have supported me and suffered through all the toil and troubles of my works a grand grand thanks, one that will never end.

You know who you are. May all whom have commented and or like and shared my work I am grateful for you.

It’s been close to over three years and I remember my beginnings, my first likes and comments as well as the support that followed.

My heart isn’t heavy.

I will miss you all and love you all in the same measure.
