POEM STARTER
Write a poem casually and nonchalantly reflecting on a hugely important event.
What kind of language could portray this tone even when the content is important?
The day you were gone
I opened the door to the living room
His saddened eyes
you died
You have longed for death for a long time
I held your hand and looked at you
You looked at me and wished to die
Not a supprise
„did he go peacefully“
„yes“
„ok“
I held my mother while she cried about you
I asked my brother if he had eaten already
did I eat that day?
probally… I cannot recall
It was late,
so I fell asleep like always,
on the day you died
