The house.

The house that now stands sad and gloomy

Once stood happy and inviting,

This house had open doors for all,

People would come and go,

Normally staying for months at a time,

The people who came to the house seemed like nice people, but weren’t always as nice as they first were,

They would abuse the house and it’s welcoming feeling but still stay,

The house grew more damaged over time,

It soon stopped letting people in,

The point of the matter is no matter how welcoming he house was people still abused the house and left,

But after all it was never really about a house
