POEM STARTER
Write a poem that has a whimsical mood.
The word whimsical is defined as being playfully fanciful, especially in an appealing way. What kind of language would you use to portray this?
Windweaving
_Wind in imagination_
_A picture drawn of mind _
_The smoothness of mist on tounge _
_Pink rose buds not yet bloomed_
_The color of the sun isn’t known_
_To man here_
_But the feeling is _
_Light that never radiates_
_Just surrounds you, just to dissipate _
_Maribelles littered at your feet _
_As a mountain winds around you_
_Guiding waves _
_Moving you towards a sky_
_No atmosphere _
_But the gentle caress of space _
_Stars bow their head to know you_
_The floor is wind here_
_The grass is many, and soft _
_I don’t know _
_I can’t tell you the color of the sky_
_Reach out your hands _
_Just to ask it _
__
_Wind is the honey _
_Sticking to nothing _
_If you taste it now_
_You are here with me_
__
_And I’m curious_
_Does it taste without bitter_
_To you too?_
__
_Is this world without_
_A studied color_
_Beautiful to you_
_Too?_
__
_Transparent without weight _
_Maybe this place_
_Knows as much as_
_You do. _
__
_Wind whispers, without stop _
_Wind invites you_
_It loves to talk. _
