I was just a girl when the stars fell

Could not have been more than 11

Stuck in a black hole

Where all light in every universe

Had gone out

And it was so so cold

I didn’t want to be cold

So I tried to find the light

I tried to find the warmth

But I found a light in the wrong place

A place that made me want to be gone

I was just a girl

And no one told me what it felt like

To see the stars falls

To feel them hit your head

To know the weight of the universe

As I tried to shine bright enough for everyone

Though after just a small time

My light was stomped out

Their laughs peircing my skin

Blood oozing on the inside

But I was as weak as I was kind

And I tried to help them find their light

But slowly

Ever so slowly

Everything got colder

Everything froze

Our lips were all blue

And the record skips as I try to recall

A single thing that happened

I remember the things

That made the stars start to fall

But it is blank after that

But it fills me with dread

And I pray that the stars won’t fall again

Because finally

Oh finally I’m warm again
