What is love?

The media romanticizes arguments

Misunderstandings

Doubts

All for the characters to overcome it

Right?

But love isn’t about those things

Love should be easy

It should be stable

The constant, secure rock

under your feet

That when it feels like you’re breaking

You know they’re there for you

To catch you when you stumble

or plummet or break

Love isn’t about miscommunication

Where both parties unaware

of how the other feels

It isn’t about fighting for each other

in some noble match

when there never should have been a battle

to begin with

Love is simple

or it should be

(This is just my opinion! Obviously love looks differently to each person! I just feel like in tv shows and movies love is only shown in one or two ways. It narrows down something that should be so expansive. And displays love as being really toxic and that is somehow something you should strive for.)
