POEM STARTER
Submitted by Esperanza
End a poem with the line:
'When does a man become a monster?'
Monster.
He can tear hearts,
But be viewed as a healer,
He can take lives,
Never seen as a stealer,
Callousness, sin,
As precious to him as ivory,
Not one pained cry,
Satisfies his twisted gluttony,
The world sees him,
As the heavens above;
They are deceived—
His heart contains no love.
Yet he will rise,
So quick, in a blur,
When does a man,
Become a monster?
