I fell unconscious for what it felt like just seconds, only to find the group of drunken idiots punching each other on the ground. As always the problem escalated and more drunken old men went primal and got into the fight. I got up and tried to yank away one of them just to be welcomed by a hook on the knee. I fell backwards again but kept trying to pull at least one of them apart. And when I did another idiot tagged along in his place. I was hoping that one of the guys I spend the whole night talking to, my damn coworkers, would help. As my whole body shook from the adrenaline, among the screams and blood starting to pour on my clothes, I just catched a glance of a few phones pointing in my direction, among with the green fluorescent vest standing still instead of helping. Not like I blame them that much, I was also hesitant to step in too. In the end our payment doesn’t cover missing teeth. Out of nowhere I’m taken out of my little trance by my supervisor lounging into the fight knee first into a guys back.
