Down In The Quartz Quarry

Down in the quartz quarry,

There’s a torquoise lake.

The stones are glimmering white,

And the sky is blue.

Lounging down in the quartz quarry,

Some more pot, I’ll take,

I’m high as a kite,

And the water is cold, refreshingly blue.

Down in the quartz quarry,

Shivering gently after floating in the lake,

The sun is setting, nearly night,

And I’m in love with you.

Relaxing down in the quartz quarry,

So skinny that a bikini wasn’t a mistake,

The June sun is shining oh-so bright,

From the mountain, what a view.

Down in the quartz quarry,

We laugh and toke and take a break!

So these words I’ll write,

As an ode to you:

Down in the quartz quarry,

Thank you.

Here’s an ode for you,

The quartz quarry.
