WRITING OBSTACLE

If your pet was transformed into a human, what would their character be like?

If you don't have a pet you could think of someone else's, or any animal you are familiar with.

Luna And Beans

The assignment says give an explanation of your pet’s personality, I’m gonna do you one better and drop some lore!

I met Luna when she was no more than a child, Very tiny little thing who followed a mutual friend of ours home one night, That mutual friend has long since passed last year (Good night sweet prince you are very much missed), But when he was around Luna would very much only stick to him, She refused to go anywhere near me, but I didn’t hold it against her.

She’s a very timid little thing but I would occasionally get to witness her being playful. Months had passed and she started to come around, mostly by means of walking near me and on rare occasions letting me sit by her. When our mutual friend passed I was certain she’d never come around again but low and behold she still drops by and spends the night.

Now she is a teen and she has gotten very comfortable with me, How am I sure because Luna early this year had kids and when those little miracles came along she allowed me not only to sit by her, but hold them as well! That and she’d cuddle up next to me while they slept. Yes, my teenage brave girl had two beautiful children! I think the father is the neighbor but we still haven’t gotten child support.

Estrella and Sol were the chosen names I had for the kids and Luna seemed to not mind but my siblings quickly decided that that was a big no.

The boy named Sol was renamed Pablo, and the girl named Estrella was renamed Beans.

Unfortunately for us tragedy struck yet again when we lost Pablo, I won’t get into the details but like his dear old uncle (I am convinced Luna and our mutual friend Garfeild, were like siblings) He is missed.

I don’t know if Beans remembers her brother as both were very young but she seems to be doing fine and learns so much from her mother everyday.

Luna, now a beautiful young lady, is still pretty timid but when comfortable with you (And trust me that takes a lot of time but it is very much worth it) is playful, a bit physically affectionate but only on her terms. She never strikes at you but she will sassily walk away; like you’re wasting her time. She is a very strong and independent little lady and I love watching her grow… even when she wakes me up in the mornings to be let inside.

Beans is the complete opposite of her mother, let me tell you that little girl will throw hands with anything, even her own mom!

She’s a troublemaker for sure but she is far too cute to be mad at. She’s also a biter so fair warning. She has her sweet moments of course like resting on your lap but those moments seem rare compared to how much she wants to throw down with anything she sees.

Seriously, this girl is the definition of, “It’s on sight.” but I love her anyway.

Recently she has been joining her mother on afternoon adventures. Funnily enough. Luna comes to my window to let me know she wants to come in, Beans still hasn’t gotten to that point as she is still pretty small but she knows to wait by the front door until grandma (Grandma being me) opens up.

Both my girls are very vocal but I’d have to say Beans is the most vocal, like her fighting she will yell at anyone, especially her mom. I can’t wait to see how Luna handles the teen years.

Now the next step… demand child support from the neighbor!
