Blood is thicker than water

Is it the pain clouding it

Or is it like the judgement constantly going through my head

Or is it the records of the tears that have run down my face

Because even they couldn’t stand being close to me

Running

the first chance they get

Taking the escape

from the torture

My thoughts being blades

My mind the juggler

Each blade tossed to high

Each mistake a new scar

Even the juggler misses a few sometimes

Those are the ones that cut deep

Striking from the inside

My blood and tears race

Neither wanting

to be the last to leave
