WRITING OBSTACLE
If there was an 8th deadly sin, what would it be?
Write a descriptive paragraph about this sin.
But What if…?
The seven deadly sins are commonly known to be pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth. When considering these “sins” from a more objective angle, all but one is symptomatic of caring too much. Perhaps, sloth, is the only that does not fit. But what if caring too little is another “sin” to be considered. What if apathy is just as bad as envy? Can not caring be as bad as caring enough to want something that isn’t yours? What would the world be like without care? If we imagine a world with only wrath, it would certainly be terrifying. But what if we imagine a world with only apathy? What would even be the point?
