POEM STARTER
The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold; a place once so magical now hurt to behold.

A Boy slipped away;
A distant memory left on display.
A broken hearted Girl;
Alone in her room, feels like she’s going to Hurl.
Once a Love story;
Ripped pages thrown down into purgatory.
The Boy had no other solution;
To take to action.
The Girl had to learn;
To stop the constant yearn.
Missing every moment together;
Trying to hold on to the tether.
Her Boy wanted to go back;
He was starting to crack.
His Girl wanted to have 10 more minutes;
Holding on to what was now off limits.
980 or so miles apart;
Can we go back to the start?
Before this Boy had to leave;
Back to that midsummers eve.
Before this Girl got stuck in dispair.
Because it doesn’t feel fair.
He’s gone away from reach.
Out there to Preach.
The Girl looks outside;
Not knowing how to Abide.
The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold;
A place once so magical now hurt to behold.
