My Dog
My sweet little boy
Finally crossed over
Lives a long life
Now running through the clover
He was 8 years
Many more for a dog
He’d gotten so old
Days full of fog
He was a good old fella
Slept most of the day
But he was my companion
For that in my heart he’ll stay
