Will grunted as he pushed himself against the door. His palms pressed against the glass. His feet skid beneath him. A tragic sight, really.

"Almost there… I think I heard it slide!”

Another push. Another grunt.

Avery looked like she was trying her best not to twitch an eye.

"Will, it literally says _PULL_"

“_Hnggh— _Huh what?”

His eyes finally met those words.

I pressed my lips. _Hard_.

I knew if I laughed, Avery would elbow me mercilessly in the ribs.

One blow, and I’d end up with a broken bone.

“If there was _any_ common sense for sale, I would’ve bought it for you!”

A breath escaped my lips. Every entity of my existence were fighting for their lives.

“Ever heard of _Honest Mistake_, Avery?” Will yelled, finally pulling the door open.

“Heard of Stupidity. It’s my first time witnessing, though.” Avery walked past him. “Words are wasted on those who do not listen.”

The corners of my lips twitched.

“Hey… how about we first finish what we came here for?”

The two stared at me in unison.

I gulped.

“Chase is right. I’ve got plenty of time to deal with you later.”
