Write a scene that takes place during a thunderstorm.
The plot can be about anything, but the main scene of your story or poem has to take place in a thunderstorm.
Running.
The skies growl with ceaseless rage,
Hiding the sun from the worldās sight,
Clouds as dark as smog fogs above,
Yet she keeps runningā¦
The trees rustle with the swift wind,
The thin leaves chatter amongst,
Gossiping about the droplets yet to fall,
And how sheās still runningā¦
Rain_ _begins to pour down,
Gentle shards hitting the forest of grass,
Mixing with the salty tears on her face,
She canāt stop running..
Mud splashes from beneath her,
Tarnishing her dirty shoes, clothes,
Her head throbbing with pain and thoughts,
Her mind is tired of runningā¦
āI know theyāre after me,ā she cries within,
As the world shadows around her,
Footsteps trudge not too far behind,
It encourages her to run fasterā¦
She dares to turn her head,
Trembling at the figure in the distance,
Confused at its disappearance in a bolt of lightning,
Her mind is running in deliriumā¦
The wind ruffles her butter hair,
The leaveās whispers now mocking her,
Along with the bitter grumbles over her head,
Her chance of help is running away..
Her heart is mangled,
Her body soaked and chilling,
Thereās not a single safe place to go,
So she has to keep runningā¦
