Whether it is a school or work uniform, show how your character makes it their own.
School Uniform
**AYAN**
I put my blazer on before loosening my tie and undoing my top button. My mum tells me I look like a homeless person but that’s how you know you look cool.
I put on the silver chain bracelet that Noor had given me when we were twelve for my birthday — very reluctantly might I add. I’m quite surprised she gave me anything at all.
After I’ve had breakfast and before I leave the house, I look in the full body mirror in the entrance hallway.
I adjust my hair.
I nod and leave the house with my Vans bag.
**NOOR**
I wear my hair up into a bun using a french pin. It’s too hot to be wearing it down.
I look at my blazer.
Too hot to wear a blazer as well.
I tuck my shirt into my pleated skirt. We’re supposed to wear pencil skirts but I’m telling you — I look AWFUL in those. So I stick to pleated skirts which are far more flattering in my opinion. The school doesn’t really care either. And the annoying strict teachers that do care enough to question me, I just tell them it’s more breathable and helps with my condition. They believe me, they’re too stupid to question it any more.
I wear my Indian gold necklace that has my name on.
I then wear my rings and put on my rose gold Pandora bracelet.
Dainty jewellery for school, heavy jewellery outside of school.
I put on my white knee high socks and then wear my doc martens.
I look in the full body mirror in my living room and adjust my hair, taking two strands out so I don’t look bald.
I nod and leave the house with my Micheal Kors bag.
