It’s not fair

First my dad

My actual father

Then my Poppop

My main male figure

Most recently, Grandpa

My last male figure

I lose all my father figures

It’s not fair

It feels like loose change

Slipping between my fingers

And I’m left with no coins left

(I just wanted to say that my mom is amazing, having taken over both parental roles. I wrote this a while ago and apparently was in my feelings during that time. It’s not really finished, but I don’t have the mental power to finish it. Anyway, I hope everyone had a good Father’s Day and appreciate the fathers and male figures in your life!)
