I don’t know how to say goodbye,

How to let go….

Of your dimples that you can’t seem to hide when you look at me.

Or those brown eyes turned golden in the sunlight.

I can’t let go…

Of how tightly yet softly you would hold on to me.

Or the way you would tell me I’m the prettiest girl in the world.

I can’t let go…

Of the way you’ve always comforted me.

Or made me so happy each and every day.

I can’t let go….

Of the way you love me.

Or the way that I love you so.

You have become my home.

Now you have to go…

And 2 years feel like forever a wait.

I have to let go…

Let you live your life as I live mine.

Praying to the sky’s that we will return back together.

That I can come back home.

But For now all I can do is hold on.

To one last hug, one last kiss, one last smile.

To a someday that I wish were tomorrow.

Of plans waiting to come true.

So I won’t say goodbye…

I’ll just say I’ll see you later.
