POEM STARTER
Ouroboros/the snake that bites its tail
Write a poem that finishes at the beginning.
Growth
So I'll tow the line
Make the effort everytime
Try to figure it out in my prime
But I can't always get it right
Another mistake
I paint the slate white
Start over when the time is right
So people want to try
Bit everyone isn't like you and I
You can't always go in blind ready to fly
So pick a flower
This is the flower that you get
It will blossom and grow and you know rough times will hit
guard the water
Nurtured with time
Sometimes you'll want to press rewind
And sure the flower may droop a little low
But it's up to you to continue to let it grow
And I know the process takes time
Wanting the time to go faster or age slowly like wine
So it's ok to learn to grow
Find the grace in the mistakes you make
Because that is also you
You cry
Wipe your eyes
But know you are still you
So brush yourself off you'll be fine
Get back up your doing fine
So I'll continue to intertwine myself in this time
Stay poised and refined
So I'll tow the line
