In, Or Out!

“Your just a slimy pink shark with no teeth in that big mouth of yours,” I said.

“Shush. You don’t know anything about me.” Julien said.

“I know everything I need to know about you,” I said.

“Just leave me alone,” she stomped of with her arms crossed and a tear peeking out of her eye.

I smiled and walked of to class. I twirl my hair in my finger tip as the teacher spoke. I noted each word in my head and when the bell rang, I skipped out of class and up to my house. My books where all in my locker so my backpack was very light.

“Launa.” A tall lady with intricate beads in her hair and a fine violet dress stood several inches taller then me.

“Yeah, Miss. get out of my way.” I said. I shoved my hand to the left of her to signal that she go to the right.

“Oh, your worse then I was told,” she whispered under her breath.

“I said get out of my way,” I shoved her over violently and stepped into my lawn.

“You will stop right there if you know what’s good for you,” she said.

“I do know what’s good for me, thank you for asking. I have to go.” I said. I stomped up to my front door and pulled at the nob.

“Stop right there young lady. Your coming with me. Your parents have been informed me of your horrible behavior and we are here to put a stop to it.”

“I didn’t think you where dumb enough to skip over a hint. Lady, your the last person I want to see right now and it’s gotta be the same for you. Go back to your boss and tell him I’m dead or something. Make it up if you can even do that,” I said.

I stepped into the house and felt my heart freeze. My eyes stung and a tear slid down my chin. I now knew what it felt like to cry. I hated it. I immediately regretted making everyone at school cry. My parents must have taken the news horribly as they now hung lifeless. Blood pooled into the floor boards beenethe there bodies.

“In, or out! You take on step forward and I’ll shoot. Not a lie. Get over here and we’ll have a little chat.” She said. Her gun clicked.

I closed my eyes and felt my lower lip tremble. I had lived my whole life disrespecting those above me. I had lived defying leadership. I wanted my last move and my last words to be frowned upon. I stepped forward.
