STORY STARTER
Glass milk bottle
The Bible
Bicycle tyre
Waking up with no recollection of the night before, these three objects help you peice together how you ended up here...
He Said He’d Be Right Back
My dad left to buy a bottle of milk,
But never came back.
And now I’m looking at the empty glass right beside me, thinking:
**“Where the hell did you go?”**
I don’t remember drinking milk. But then again, I don’t quite remember anything at all.
I try to stand up—
But realize my hands are tied with a rope.
My legs, my body too.
I’m sitting on a chair.
Right beside me there is a table. On it lays a book—a Bible?
It looks like a Bible.
I think it is one,
Has a cross on it.
Yea it is one.
Wait—
A Bible??
Gosh my head is hurting.
What in the world happened?
I blink and look up.
I’m in a room.
In a building.
Is this a church?
Right next to me is a—
Bycicle tire?
I stare at it.
I stare at the glass of milk.
I stare at the Bible.
I stare at the ropes digging into my skin.
I try to make sense out of this.
Nothing.
The only thing I know
is that my dad left me for milk,
I’m in a church
tied up,
and theres a broken tire from a bycicle
I don’t own.
**What a lovely day.**
