So when you came to me or more like I held onto you at first glance I knew you’d be something special to live for.

I started appreciating more the horizons, the sunsets, our every moment spent out of a busy day. You taught me how to live for the small moments and that a wounded heart actually learns to heal over time.

But I know…. I know. I seemed to put you on the pedestal over time but can you blame a girl for falling for your enchantment. You said you weren’t deemed of love and so I wanted to prove you wrong. So I tried falling for you. Then you showed me how ulgy the truth could be and made me feel as if I were such despicable thing.

Through and through, I will choose you again. To have my heart wounded by you as long as it means to live again for me in the end.

So falling for you was the easiest thing to do. Now, leaving you behind me is one the hardest lessons I will ever endure. I wanted to stay. I really did, but sometimes it’s worth leaving you behind in order to protect me.

So farewell my beloved summer.

I will meet you again in the small moments to come. I promise to not dwell in the after us for I dwelled enough with you alongside me.
