POEM STARTER

Life in Your Hands
Write a poem or short story about if you were death and had to choose each day who must die.
The silent prayers of death
i look at her with my wishful gaze
breathe at her neck, watch the hairs stand up
shes been in my vision for a while
ive noticed her sufffering
she has come to me in her silent begging
she invites me in with her depseration
with her evasive want to live
her dreams whisper sorrows for me to take
i have been lurking, waiting, in anticipation
for she knows
she knows
her time has come
i feel her in her quiet desperation
she wants me to take her away
after all, the body only dies when her soul doesnt exist anymore
but tell me
a heart whose stopped beating cant break
and hers is merely a ghost
just as i turn her into one
embracing her with an infinite end.
