Sage looked around at the guards surrounding them, looking for a ways to escape and finding none. Well that was stupid. Sage thought to themselves.

They had just just been walking through the market when thwy saw something they liked and may have put it in their pocket. Someone just happened to see and now Sage was running from the law. Well, were. They were cornered now, with no place to go.

“You should really let me go.” Sage innocently said to the group of guards that were there. “And why is that? We got a call saying you stole something. Empty your pockets, kid”

“You should really let me go.” Sage repeated. The guards’ eyes seemed to go hazy. “We should really let you go…” the guards said in unison, their voices mumbled before walking away. Sage walked away, free as a bird. For now at least.
