Monday: First, tea. Shower, then dress modestly. Healthy breakfast. A little makeup. Esther was ready for work.
“Good morning, Esther,” greeted the janitor.
“Good morning, Ralph.”
A stack of books waiting to be read-stacked. What was this one? Esther had never seen it before.
“The Nec-ro-nom-icon?”
She opened up the book, and began to read.
