STORY STARTER

Submitted by Taylor Amerson

A lone, aged man wanders across the wild land searching for something.

What does he seek?

The Beauty Of The Sun

Wandering through the wild land, listening to the birds communicate to eachother, wondering what they’re talking about.

Oh, how the summer is going to be missed.

The trees swaying to the tunes of the wind, the evening sun showering the sky with beautiful shades of summer.

This is what I seek.

Warmth. Happiness. Light.

All year round, we wait, sit patiently until it’s time for the sun to reveal herself in the spot light, lighten children’s faces, making an imprint on people’s skin.

I seek the sun.

She’s a beauty,

She is a goddess of happiness.

She drizzles our hearts with warmth, allowing us to enjoy our Mother Earth, allowing humans to breathe in the summers air and take in what world they’ve been given life into,

Oh, how we miss her.

Peeking through the clouds in spring, giving us a preview of our summer, of our future joy.

Her golden beams lighten up our sky in the day, then we let her rest at night, as her mood darkens when the moon takes her place on stage.

She deserves rest, giving us the light of our day, she must sleep, so our days keep shining as bright as her.

Then the next day, she re-appears,

Making our days as magical as her,

Her beauty is contagious across the world,

She may favourite countries,

But she shines her happiness on everyone.

Our beautiful sun.
