POEM STARTER

“Falling feels like flying until the moment that you land.”
Compose a poem that uses this quote as the central theme.
Falling Flying Seesaw
Falling feels like flying until the moment that you land
Then ground rears its ugly head
With unachieveable demands
It gives not a mile, foot, or inch
Echoed laughter of all knowing finch
Amusement not in malice
But peaceful overflow
A self sustaining force
Created many moons ago
Flying would not be flying
without threat of earth below
Gravity is a divine donation
As legs do wings bestow
Falling feels like flying
And will remain so
Until one learns to ride wind
And give in to what can’t let go
