A temptation on my mind,

The possibility of something

So, so divine

Seems too great to attain

Yet the question lies;

Do I think clear or with hearts in my eyes?

Wrapped around the thought’s finger

My heart could lie in deceitful hands,

So wrong, so right,

Am I nothing but blind,

Unable to see the monster before my eyes?

If I step off the edge, will I stay alive?

A blessing a curse to have a fire,

Strong and undettered in my soul,

Uncertainty lingers, never dies,

An argument between my morals,

Both sides fight like a married couple.

Would following the dreamy side leave me to die?
