She laughed at the mess she made. Nothing was going according to plan but it was absolutely perfect.
Eggs
The first time I babysat for my niece I was ten
She was a good kid about 3 months old then
The time flew by as she grew up so wicked fast
There were memories of time that you want to last
One certain cooking try was with fresh farm eggs
She broke the shell on to the floor and on my legs
The hidden dog waiting nearby gobbled up the two
We were laughing at how clean the floor was shiny too
The bread was pulled off the shelf and fell in the soapy sink
There was wet bread and I don’t have anymore I do think
Now the soggy mess went right into the garbage pail
The hidden dog tipped the can over ate the bread oh wail
Now when the not so hidden dog goes to bark with bubbles
He doesn’t tip over the trash and doesn’t give us troubles
