"I'm doing this for you!" I screamed, the sounds of the beasts tearing the villagers apart. The creatures that I commanded, they could be stopped in a moment's notice. However, I continued to let them grow and feast.
My love, Winter, he stared at me in shock. I tilted my head, a small smile playing across my face. "Do you see over there? The people who were so awful to you?" I pointed to a group of cowering men, before two beasts came and tore them apart. "It's all gone."
"Angelica..." he whispered, still shaking in fear.
"Why are you so scared? They won't hurt you." I smiled. The rabid like dogs came to stand behind me, their maws dripping in blood. "You're safe with me, you've always been." I held out my hand, and Winter moved away.
"Angelica...I love you, but your powers are too strong, they scare me..." he whispered. Nothing but fear was in his eyes, and it felt like my heart broke.
"What...I did this for you...I sold my soul for you!" I couldn't help but feel my previous fury, the beasts picking up on it, snarling at my darling Winter.
"Angel...Don't do this."
"Do you even love me?" I whispered, my voice coming out broken. The beasts stared to close in.
"O...Of course!" He pleaded.
"Liar. Liar. You're scared of me. You hate me!" I screamed, and at my scream, the beasts finished their job.
No one remained in the village. Only I stood.
The beasts looked at me, ready for their next orders. I had nothing for them, and we left the village, tired, broken, and alone.
