She sat on the stool at the bar. A man plopped next to her.

“Hey baby, wussup.” He said, his voice mumbled and slightly incoherent.

She looked at him, her eyes scanning the male.

He wore a black track suit and had tan skin with black hair.

“None of your damn business.”

“Ahh feisty huh? Talk to your dad like that?” He chuckled.

“My dads dead.” She scoffed.

“Oh I’m sorry, but still. You wanna get out this place.”

“No, not with you of all people.” She stood up storming away.

“Jee, bro.” He scoffed.

The bartender set his glass down, “Listen, you might’ve dodged a bullet. That girl… She not who she says she is nor who she shows she is.”

“She came here one time covered in red shit. And listen.. yeah it was near Halloween time. But that smelt, smelt like copper.” The bartender said leaning against the table.

“I mean shit fool.. you wanna go together than?”

“Hmm when I clock out.” The bartender said, a smirk spreaded across his lips.

“Alright, I’ll show you what a real man can do.”
