A mother and her child walked together on the beach.

“What’s that?” The boy asked. “That shiny thing in the water.”

The boy’s mother sprang an appendage to retrieve the object as she didn’t want her child to fall in and be consumed by a vicious Slor.

“Well look at that. It’s a dinner plate with scribbles on it. So pretty! I wonder where it came from.”

She took it home and washed it.

“That’s odd,” her partner said. He was truly puzzled as his brain case started glowing. “Are those shapes supposed to be living beings?”

No one could figure it out. So they put it into a frame and hung it on the wall as a beach souvenir.
