Her mother gives her one last hug right before she leaves. “Do you have everything? Your phone? Charger? Did you pack extra underwear?”

She chuckled lightly. “Yes, mom, I swear I’ve got everything.” Her mom shakes her head a little. “Well I just want you to be prepared! Promise to call me when you land?” Her mother asks.

“Yes, mom. I’ll call you everyday.” She checks the screen by the boarding agent.

“Mom, I’ve got to go! I love you!” Her mom gives her one last hug before she leaves. “Be careful!” She calls out.

And right before she gets on the plane and releases her tears, she calls out, “I’ll be fine.”
