STORY STARTER
Unicorns do exist, but they're not the good guys...
To celebrate world unicorn day, write a short story about why we idealise unicorns, even though they're actually evil.
Magic Horns
Sarah was 8 when she saw a horse for the first time. Big. Lengthy. Ugly. These are all things that came to her mind as she watched the animal from afar. “The only thing missing from this scene is some kind of imagination” she thought while sitting on her family porch. As she continued to observe, a curious question popped up in her mind. “What if we added a horn?” So she stole her mother’s arts and craft kit, created a cardboard point using the best of her abilities, and put it on the horse.
After that evening, Sarah watched all kinds of videos about unicorns. She became obsessed. She wanted to become one. The same cardboard that was on the horse was taped onto her forehead, and she began acting as if she was one. Her curiosity about unicorns had turn into a full-blown desire to become one!
This is why unicorns are evil.
