STORY STARTER
In a small village where nothing exciting ever happens, a mischievous group of elderly citizens sets out to create mayhem and mischief for the fun of it.
Camstown’s Nursing Home Vigilantes
**At the nursing center in Camstown; bingo night (Wednesday):**
****
“B 48,” Jackson’s (the caregiver) voice was dead, he must have run out of coffee.
“BINGO! HAHA! Take that Cindy,” Oliver _(one of the residents)_ shouted. This was the first time he ever got a bingo.
“I don’t even care. I already have 53 bingo awards,” Cindy _(Oliver’s sister)_ was unbothered.
“Okay, I’m going to get your prize. Remember, no dancing on tables. You know what happened last time,” Jackson sighed.
“Hey! That wasn’t even my fault,” Benjamin _(another resident)_ replied.
“Whatever,” Jackson left.
“So, I’ve been thinking,” Sandy _(yet another resident of Camstown Nursing Center) _said. Mischief crept into her voice and her smile turned into an evil grin, “what if we create a little **_chaos_**? I mean things have been so boring lately!”
“YES!” Oliver screamed.
“Sure,” Benjamin said.
“Why the heck not!” Cindy agreed.
That day (after bingo ended), the SSS (Smart and Scary Squad) got to planning.
“What’s the plan?” Oliver asked.
“Honestly, I didn’t think this far,” Sandy replied truthfully.
“WHAT?” Cindy screeched. “I taught you how to be an evil genius, NOT to forget to create a pl-”
“Wait! I have an idea,” Benjamin interrupted.
“Okay, go on,” Cindy smiled and everyone suddenly got chills. _*Because her evil smile is so scary.*_
_“_So, basically, we…” Benjamin explained his plan.
“Perfect,” Cindy chuckled.
“Jackson, would you be a sweetheart and take me and Oliver out to the garden?” Sandy sweetly asked.
“Fine, but I swear if you do anything!” Jackson threatened.
“I will make sure she doesn’t try to kill all the tomatoes!” Oliver promised.
“Okay,” Jackson sounded defeated, “I don’t get paid enough for this.”
“We have to start step one now! Jackson is distracted, but not for long,” Cindy spoke soft and quietly.
“We need to tiptoe out and act normal. We can’t get caught,” Benjamin added.
“Right,” Cindy agreed.
The two eventually got out without being noticed. They first went to a nearby coffee shop and asked what year it was.
“2025?” The confused employee replied.
“It actually worked,” Benjamin stated.
“IT ACTUALLY WORKED!” Cindy echoed.
“What?” The employee asked.
“Umm… nothing, nothing,” Cindy quited.
“Well, thanks,” Benjamin said as him an Cindy walked out the door.
“1, confuses a random employee. Completed!” Cindy checked it off her mental list.
**Camstown Nursing Center; Game Night (Thursday):**
****
“Uno!” Sandy stated. Benjamin placed a yellow 8 down.
“Reverse,” Oliver placed a yellow reverse on the discard pile.
“Draw two, Sandy,” Benjamin said.
“Ugh!” Sandy whined.
“Uno out!” Cindy placed a wild card and put her hands up in triumph.
“Why must you always win?” Sandy cried out.
“I’m just built different,” Cindy smiled.
“Are you?” Oliver teased.
“Shut up!” Cindy slapped Oliver.
“HOW DARE YOU!!” Oliver held his hand over his face.
“Cindy, Sandy, how about you guys help me with dinner,” Jackson said.
“Okay,” Sandy sighed.
“No, I will not! Women don’t belong in the kitchen!” Cindy shouted.
“That’s not what I meant,” Jackson hit his face with his palm.
“I’ll go,” Oliver said.
“Thank you,” Jackson said.
“Okay grab the salt, I’ll get the sugar.” Oliver told Sandy.
“Okay!” Sandy grabbed the salt and brought it to Oliver.
“We need to quickly switch them,” Oliver stated.
“I know,” Sandy rolled her eyes. She poured the salt into a bowl and Oliver dumped the sugar into the salt container. Then Sandy put the salt into the sugar container.
“Heheheh! Yes!” Sandy laughed.
“We’re done with dinner!” Oliver shouted.
Sandy handed out the plates with the correct seasoning to the nursing center resident amd Jackson. Oliver handed out the food with the wrong seasonings to the other workers.
“Yum,” Zane _(a caretaker) _seemed unbothered.
“Oh, yeah, yummy!” Mia _(a caretaker)_ was clearly disgusted by the food.
“This is… delightful,” Jade faked a smile but spit the food into her napkin.
The dinner went by with the residents all having a wonderful dinner and the caretakers having a disgusting dinner (with the exception of Jackson).
“2, make annoying people disgusted! Complete!” Cindy giggled.
**Camstown Nursing Center; Friday:**
“So, what’s next? We only planned two pranks,” Sandy asked.
Everyone was dead silent.
“I guess that means we are taking a break from pranks,” Cindy said with a sad, sad tone.
“How about twice a week we do pranks? We already did two for this week,” Benjamin stated.
“Yes! We have the entire week to brainstorm!” Oliver added.
*Ah. This took so long! I might consider continuing this, but I am not writing any more today. Have a great day!*
