POEM STARTER
The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold; a place once so magical now hurt to behold.
Write a rhyming poem that ends with this line.
City Of Stars
Oh estranged city,
You used to be so pretty
With a colorful dawn
That was lifting the sky
That looked like it was painted or drawn
When emeralds and sapphires would fly
That height no one can defy
No gravity no matter how high
Where the stars were touching
But now there crumbling all the way to the ground
Now darkness, now a monstrous sight
What a fright
It took away all the light
A city so big so grand so bright
Is now a lowly place nobody can fight
Magic is gone
Magic is lost
In hope we still keep our fingers crossed
Now with the blindfold we hide ourselves
So fragile, so unsure
So kept from the outside world
We feel lost
Ashamed of our city we thought was once good
Now wants to be forgotten and thrown out like mold wow that felt so bold to say
but what lies beneath them is the truth
The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold;
A place once so magical now hurt to behold
