Super Cat Saves the Capitol

Grover is in the middle of basking in the sunny parking lot when the alarm sounds.

The urgent voice of Lieutenant Bitsy comes through her hidden earpiece. “Super Cat, come in, Super Cat.”

Grover, also know as Super Cat, snaps to attention. “I’m here, Lieutenant, what’s the problem.”

“It’s the dogs, they just launched a surprise attack on the capitol!”

Super Cat hisses to herself. She knew those dirty dogs were up to something, but she’d thought she had a bit more time to prepare.

“Understood, Lieutenant, I’ll take care of it.”

Without a second’s hesitation, Super Cat lifts off the ground and rockets towards the capitol at Mach 9. Under different circumstances, she might take the time to appreciate the feeling of wind in her fur, but not today.

The capitol building soon appears in the distance, and Super Cat is horrified to see that it is engulfed in flames. Her horror soon turns to anger, and her hatred for dogs burns even brighter than the capitol.

Super Cat crashes through the roof like a missile, startling the dogs inside.

The golden retriever quickly recovers from his initial shock, and he gives Super Cat a smug yet vicious snarl.

“It’s too late now, Super Cat,” he growls, “The capitol is ours!”

The other dogs howl in agreement. Super Cat can see why they feel so confident. There are more dogs here than she’d ever seen at once, and they had clearly done significant damage. Defeating them would not be easy. Super Cat would need to make this quick.

“You leave me no choice,” she growls.

Super Cat closes her eyes and summons her last resort: The Vacuum Cleaner. The dogs’ howls die down as her weapon appears, and then the roar of the mighty Vacuum fills the air.

The dogs scatter in all directions, whimpering and with thier tails between their legs.

The golden retriever turns back to face her. “You’ll regret this, Supercat,” he growls, before escaping into the smoke and ruins.

No dogs remain, and Super Cat hears the sirens of fire trucks approaching. The battle won, Super Cat dismisses her unholy weapon back into the ether.

“It’s done,” she says into her earpiece.

“Oh thank Bastet!” Lieutenant Bitsy exclaims. “Good work as always, Super Cat.”

Super Cat debriefs Lieutenant Bitsy on the details of the battle, and by the time the call ends, she has arrived back at the parking lot. The sun sets behind the trees, and a human will soon come to bring Super Cat her food. Her supper is the only reward she will receive for her heroic deed, but Super Cat doesn’t mind. For her, the fight for justice is enough.
