such a foolish girl

But I can tell some nicks

This sweater

covers the nook base of my demons

Hidden within me

If you’d ask me, “take it off, there is a time and place to throw it on”

I’d say no.

It’s the one time I could find solace

For you’d not seen my ugly truths,

Battle scars

A wounded heart even on display

It’s the only time my body can become a mystery even to me

to tell the truth

Today I have it one

yet, perhaps tomorrow
