Time goes by quickly

Then it passes slowly

Only to speed up as if making up for lost time

Is time on a timer, or is it just a timer

Does time count down or does it count up

Is it a construct or a constraint

Is it possible that it can be both

One day will time run out

Will time be here after everything is dead and gone

Or will it too disappear along side life

does time really matter when days pass in a blur

Or when no one pays attention to the difference between night and day

Or the difference of morning and afternoon

Why does time matter so much when it seems that it’s only purpose is to count down the days
